Under supervision of scandinavian countries, SYFA implement different projects to assist Yemen in meeting the future challenges and overcome them.

SCI

We are trying to establish the first scandinavian cultural institute (SCI) in Yemen. The aim of this project is to To promote the understanding and appreciation of Scandinavia history and culture to people in Yemen through different activities performed by the institute, one of the most important, learning scandinavian languages for better communication.

Women rights

Prenatal diagnosis clinic

Yemen is a developing country with no facilities in preventive care medicine when it comes to genetic disorders such as sickle cell anemia and thalassemia blood diseases. adding this clinic "aims to make this technique available for the first time to those who do not have the resources to go abroad" and to diagnose such diseases at very early stage of pregnancy.

Yemen Cancer Research Foundation (YCRF)

The very little litreature on cancer entity in Yemen is a big problem with increasing mortality rate year after year. This project aims to establish the first cancer research center in Yemen as dynamic wheel of providing knowledge and assisting clinicians to find better ways to evaluate, diagnose, and treatment of cancer in Yemen. Scandinavian friends scholarships program (SFSP)

In cooperation with scandinavian countries we are arranging a wide panel of educational projects such as scandinavian friends scholarships program (SFSP). this program allow high qualified students who meet the standard requirments for enrollment in the scandinavian universities for higher eduction. we also have some quotes from Erasmus mundus program for academic exchange.

Scandinavian friends library database (SFLD)

The ability to spread and receive information becomes one of the most important factors to keepknowledge updated. The SFLD project aims to make this source available as an open access to SYFA members. We believe that through this kind of e-library, the knowledge required for educational improvement will be achieved.

YNJM Yemen National Journal of Medicine

the first prestigious high quality leading journal of medicine in Yemen with an online submission system. The main aim of the journal is to establish scientific communication between Yemeni scholars and facilitate the wide spread of knowledge based on international peer reviewe research articles.
